Five XRP Spot ETFs Listed on DTCC as US Launch Nears

In a significant move for the cryptocurrency market, five XRP spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have been listed on the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC), indicating a potential US launch within the month. The funds include Franklin XRP Trust (XRPZ), 21Shares XRP ETF (TOXR), Bitwise XRP ETF (XRP), Canary XRP ETF (XRPC), and CoinShares XRP ETF (XRPL).

Key Developments

  • Grayscale and other asset managers are expanding their ETF offerings amid strong market interest.
  • Canary Capital plans to launch its XRPC fund soon, following successful launches of Litecoin and Hedera ETFs.

Canary Capital CEO Steven McClurg, speaking at Ripple Swell 2025, noted that the firm's XRP ETF could become effective in 20 days, thanks to a no-delay amendment. Market observers are also anticipating the addition of WisdomTree's XRP ETF to the DTCC listings.

Grayscale is seeking to convert its existing XRP Trust into a spot ETF, which has amassed approximately $14 million in assets since its inception last September.

Investor Interest and Market Dynamics

Earlier this year, the market saw the debut of several XRP-linked products, including Teucrium's 2x Long Daily XRP ETF (XXRP) and ProShares Ultra XRP ETF (UXRP). The XXRP fund has garnered around $306 million in net assets, reflecting robust interest in leveraged XRP exposure.

Meanwhile, Solana and XRP futures have emerged as the fastest-growing crypto products on CME Group, benefiting from the infrastructural and liquidity advancements initially established for Bitcoin and Ethereum derivatives. This trend underscores increased market participation and the adaptation of trading strategies to newer digital assets.
